jcuk where God given talent is given a chance to breathe

jcuk where God given talent is given a chance to breath

jcuk is a collection of churches in the Medway Towns that want to encourage young people to achieve their full potential.  Whether that is singing, dancing, acting or writing.  We have chosen Gillingham Football stadium conference suites to host the talent showcase, as it can accommodate 600 people and has excellent stage and meeting facilities.

The idea for the function was conceived by Emmanuel the Pastor of Kingdom Exchange church in Brompton, Gillingham and supported by their whole congregation.  They have faithfully paid for the venue, out of generous giving from local Christians.  The associated churches listed on this jcuk website, are offering their time and resources for free, out of their love for young people and a willingness to serve their local community.  If you are a local church and want to get involved, please ring Gate-Way on 01634 844711

What does jcuk stand for?

jcuk stands for Jesus Christ United Kingdom. We believe that Jesus Christ made a stand for the United Kingdom (as well as the rest of the world) and the local churches would like to make a stand for the youth in our area too. By serving the young people in our towns we hope to reflect the love of God and share the truth about what He did for them and us, when He made a stand against the injustices of the world and set people free from drug addiction, physical abuse, mental abuse, fear and rejection.

We hope by encouraging young people to use their God given talents they will fulfil their destiny and exceed their own expectations.  In some cases they may even be able to be encouragers themselves, by teaming up with friends to do a group performance.

We have contacted a talent agency who constantly looking for young talent, to see if they would join the judging panel.  Who knows if they respond, then you will get an opportunity to perfrom for them in one of their productions one day!
