jcuk

jcuk where your God given talent is given a chance to breathe.
If you've got a gift of singing, dancing, short drama, poem ... and live in the UK, then we want to hear from you.
Have you got talent?
If the answer is YES, then please complete the online form to register your interest in the 'sublime showcase' and auditions held during the year.
Our last Talent Show event was on Saturday 6th February 2010 in Kent
Where the Medway Towns hosted auditions and a Talent Showcase called 'sublime showcase' at Gillingham Football Club Priestfield Stadium Conference Suite - Auditions were from 2.00pm to 5.00 pm then the sublime showcase evening of entertainment was from 6:00 pm to 11 pm, for young people.
The entry to the 'sublime afternoon and evening event' was free (future events may require a small entry fee to help cover costs), refreshments are normally available to purchase at reasonable rates. We may have to limit entries on a 'first come' basis, due to previous experience of response numbers.
For future talent events you need to get entries in as early as possible. Contestants should not have any material that is offensive or rude and to wear appropriate clothing (no nudity). Wherever possible the organisers tried to accommodate requests, however, the organisers reserve the right to withdraw entrants if an act is not practical for the facilities available at the venue, or if the material is not appropriate or in-line with the aims of the event.

jcuk where God given talent is given a chance to breathe

jcuk is a collection of Christian Churches and Christian Organisations, in the UK that want to encourage young people to achieve their full potential. Whether that is singing, dancing, acting or writing. We often use venues like football stadium conference suite to host our evenst, like the first talent showcase at Giillingham Football Stadium, as it could accommodate 600 people and has excellent stage facilities and conference facilities.
The idea for the 'talent showcse' was conceived by Emmanuel the Pastor of Kingdom Exchange church in Brompton, Gillingham and supported by their whole congregation and a number of local churches. The first event venue was faithfully paid, out of generous giving from local Christians and local Christian Business people. The associated churches are listed on this jcuk website, who offer their time and resources for free, out of their love for young people and a willingness to serve their local community. If you are a local church and want to get involved, please ring us on 01634 260700

What does jcuk stand for?
jcuk stands for Jesus Christ United Kingdom. We believe that Jesus Christ made a stand for the United Kingdom (as well as the rest of the world) and the local churches would like to make a stand for the youth in our area too. By serving the young people in our towns we hope to reflect the love of God and share the truth about what He did for them and us, when He made a stand against the injustices of the world and set people free from drug addiction, physical abuse, mental abuse, fear and rejection.
We hope by encouraging young people to use their God given talents they will fulfil their destiny and exceed their own expectations. In some cases they may even be able to be encouragers themselves, by teaming up with friends to do a group performance.
We are in contact with talent agencies who are constantly looking for young talent, who form part of our judging panel. Who knows, you may get an opportunity to perfrom in one of their productions one day!
